Regulation 7.1.2.2: Staff who are counted in the staff/child ratios and auxiliary staff left alone with children and/or counted in staff/child ratio as specified in the rule 6.2.1.8 of these regulations shall obtain training in pediatric first aid and in infant and child CPR within three (3) months of beginning work in the CBCCPP and remain currently certified.
“One (1) staff member that has been employed for longer than three (3) months was missing CPR/First Aid training. Licensee confirmed staff member had not completed the training and that the staff member will complete the training in August before school starts again. Corrective Action: Staff must complete CPR/First Aid training. Submit completed certificates to Northern Lights and send submission confirmation to the licensor by 8/28/2026.”

“Staff A last completed the fingerprint supported background clearance in April of 2019. They did not complete the five year renewal in April of 2024 as required. Corrective Action: Since the visit Staff A completed fingerprinting and a new record check authorization form was received. Moving forward please ensure staff complete the five(5) year background check renewal.This licensor will help the new director with how to know and track renewal dates for staff. No futher corrective action is required.”
