Choosing a daycare is one of the biggest decisions a family makes. Most parents ask the same questions first: is it licensed, which ages does it take, when is it open, and what did the state find when it inspected? DaycarePal answers those questions on one page for each daycare, before you pick up the phone.
About us
About DaycarePal
DaycarePal helps parents choose a daycare. We list over 200,000 daycares in every state, and we put each daycare's state license and inspection record next to its hours, ages and phone number.
Why we exist
Built for parents choosing care
What you get
What makes us different
The state record on every page.
License type, status, capacity and ages served, as the state licensing agency publishes them.
Inspections in the state's own words.
Where the state publishes them, each visit and each cited rule, with the date it was corrected when the state gives one.
Home daycares included.
Family child care homes are listed next to centers. Their street address stays private: we show the town and ZIP only.
One plain sort rule.
Providers on paid plans are listed first, then A to Z by name. We do not rank daycares. A paid plan never changes the state record, a review or what we say about any daycare.
Cost context.
County median prices from the U.S. Department of Labor, so you know what care usually costs near you.

Plain limits
What we are not
- We are not a daycare and not a government agency. We cannot hold a spot, enroll a child or answer questions about a child's care.
- We do not score, rate or recommend daycares.
- We do not invent openings, prices, ratings or reviews.
- We do not show the street address of a home daycare.
Corrections
See a mistake? We fix it
If a listing is wrong, use "Report a problem" on the listing or contact us. We check it and correct our copy. The license and inspection record belong to the state: to change the record itself, contact the state licensing agency. Daycare owners can claim their listing to keep hours, photos and openings up to date. Anything a provider adds is marked "Provided by the business".
