Regulation 7.4.4: All staff, with the exception of substitutes, shall complete fifteen (15) clock hours of annual professional development activities as required in the rule 7.4.2 of these regulations.
“A review of the FCCP's BFIS account, confirmation from the FCCP and confirmation from Northern Lights at CCV show that only 2 (two) hours of professional development was completed for the 4/2025-4/2026 year. Corrective Action: Complete the missing 13 hours of professional development for the 4/2025-4/2026 year and complete the required 15 hours for the 4/2026-4/2027 year. Send a plan that includes the trainings that will be taken over the next few months to make up the missing professional development hours and submit the completed trainings to Northern Lights at CCV. Status: Appeal Period.”

“The following was observed in the area where children are cared for. Three doors have stains and brown marks likely from where adults and children have touched while opening and closing the door. Throughout the room where children eat and enter the FCCH there was built up dirt, food crumbs and dust in the corners. The same was observed in the bathroom. Additionally the base board trim thoughout the rooms had built up dust. Based on what was observed it does not appear the floors and surfaces are being cleaned daily as required. Corrective Action: Please complete a thorough cleaning of the spaces used by children. Please develop a daily cleaning list, consult cleaning and sanitizing guidlines on page forty(40) and forty-one(41) of the regulations when creating that list. Please send photos of the space by the corrective action due date.”
