Regulation 7.4.4: All staff, with the exception of substitutes, shall complete fifteen (15) clock hours of annual professional development activities as required in the rule 7.4.2 of these regulations.
“All providers were notified by the Child Development Division that in accordance with federal requirements all substitutes are required to complete four (4) hours of yearly professional development as of 10/01/2024. It was confirmed that Staff Person A has been a substitute in the program monthly for the calendar year 2025 and started with the program in 2024. Corrective Action: Have Staff person A complete the required four (4) hours of professional development due for 2025. Ensure this person has a plan to complete the required hours for 2026. Send an email to Licensing Field Specialist Crawford identiying the hours to be completed for 2025 which have been completed.”
