“Reporter sent picture evidence of children in the upstairs portion of the building. It was reported that they go upstairs to play when it is 'too bad' to go outside. The Reporter also stated that the infants and toddlers go upstairs with staff "frequently:. This space is not approved child care space. When asked, the Director said that she has no knowledge of this and they must do it when she is not there. When the Infant/Toddler teacher was asked, she denied that her group of children go upstairs. Despite denial of knowledge of preschool children going upstairs, seemingly playing, there is picture evidence demonstrating that they are in unapproved space. Therefore, this is a non-compliance. Please write a letter of correction stating how the Center will become in compliance with this regulation in the future.”
