“There are four Pre-K children enrolled in the program, therefore electrical sockets in all child care spaces must be capped. There were four electrical sockets that were not capped in the gymnasium when LS arrived. Director immediately capped those sockets. This was corrected on site while LS was present.”

“There are 4 children's emergency forms that are missing their health care provider information. Please obtain from parents and add to files. Send copies of emergency forms to Licensing Specialist.”

“When Licensing Specialist checked the attendance record on Pro Care, there were 8 children marked as present, but there were 9 children present. Director determined which child had not been signed in by the parent and signed the child in. This was corrected on site. All CCPS child care sites use Pro Care for keeping track of attendance. Licensing Specialist strongly recommends that all sites have a current and up to date hard copy of the attendance roster as back up, in case the tablet battery malfunctions or dies, the Wifi is out, etc. Children's attendance and whereabouts are to be known at all times.”

“Director, LH, completed 11 hours of continued training during her September 2022-2023 training cycle. Director is 1 hour short in training. Please complete 1 hour of continued training and send copy of certificate to Licensing Specialist. At the next annual inspection, Licensing Specialist will be looking at Director's training that has not been counted already for September 2023-September 2024.”
