“Based on observation and provider interview, the provider did not ensure that cribs were not used as a play space for infants. Evidence: Child #5 (Age: 9 months) was observed playing in the crib in the main play area at the beginning of the inspection. The infant was sitting up in the crib with a boppy pillow. There were various toys located in the crib with the infant including a small bucket, a small mirror with shapes toy, a soft doll, a blanket, and two stuffed toys.”

“Based on observation, the provider did not ensure that toys were not hung from the sides of the crib when either the child begins to push up on hands and knees or is five months of age, whichever occurs first. Evidence: Child #5 (Age: 9 months) was observed sitting in the crib located in the main play area at the beginning of the inspection and there were toys hanging down on connected plastic links spanning from either side of the crib.”
