Regulation 5.14: The licensee shall ensure that no person shall be left alone with children without approval from the Division which shall be based on the results of the background check to include fingerprinting.
“The staff member's Record Check Authorization form was received by the Division on 11/08/23. The staff member does not have the completed fingerprint supported background clearance, as required by the Child Development Division. The staff member was working alone with the two children in attendance. The staff member said that she is the staff person at the program each day, whether any other staff are present or not. Corrective Action: Until the staff member has a completed the CDD fingerprint supported background clearance, the staff member may not be left alone with children. Submit an email to this licensor by 12/20/2023 which includes how compliance to the rule has been met and the plan to ensure compliance will be maintained going forth.”
