“There were a child size bow and arrow, with the arrows located on a battery-operated child's vehicle next to the garage where children walk to get to the playground. The tips of the arrows are sharp. It is required to keep all weapons including archery equipment locked during the hours of operation. Regulation 5.10.1.1: General Safety: The FCCP shall ensure the physical facilities of the FCCH, grounds, equipment, and toys present no hazard to the health, safety and well-being of the children.
“On the kitchen table, and outside in front of the garage was cluttered with adult items which were a hazard for children. In front of the garage there were, tools, gas cans, several bags of cans, propane cans, a generator, a bow and arrow, child size cars and bikes, and a grill in front of the garage where children walk to the playground. On the kitchen table was cluttered with scattered mail, papers, bag of chips with a bottle of a flavored drink and a prescription bottle of medication in reach of children. There was a space for children to eat at the table, but children could reach these items. Cluttered spaces cause the provider not to see hazards that are in reach of children. Corrective Action: Immediately de clutter the kitchen table and in front of the garage to create a safe space for children where the areas can be easily assessed for hazards daily. By 7/17/2026, submit a photo of the two areas to this Licensor to confirm compliance. Status: Appeal Period.”
