      8VAC20-780-400-B Complaint related: Yes

“Based on interviews and review of video footage it was determined that behavioral guidance was not always constructive in nature, and age and stage appropriate. Evidence: On 06/01/2022 at 8:42 am, child A (Age: 10 years) is seen stepping onto a chair attached to a table in the cafeteria. The reaction of staff A to this behavior was to strike the child on the right arm and redirected the child to the stage by moving the child by the back of their neck. Staff A briefly speaks to child A regarding the incident and instructs the child to sit down at the table alone.”
