Questions

How many Kokomo daycares take infants?

11 Kokomo daycares take infants, by the Indiana record or their own description. A daycare without this tag may still take infants, so ask.

What does a safe-sleep citation mean?

It means a state inspector found a sleep rule not met on a visit, for example a baby put down on their side, a crib with blankets or toys, or babies left without a check. Since October 2023, 13% of visited Indiana infant programs had one cited. Open a listing to read its visits, and ask the daycare what it changed.

How young a baby do daycares in Kokomo take?

The Indiana license list we load does not give a starting age, so ask each daycare the youngest age it takes.

Are home daycares an option for infants?

Yes. 4 of the Kokomo daycares on this list are home daycares. Each listing shows the ages on its Indiana record.

Can I see an infant daycare's inspections?

Yes. Each shows its Indiana visits and what the state cited, in the state's words where the state publishes them.
