“Complaint addresses concerns regarding the authorized release documents for a child in care, and of what the provider's departure and authorized release show for September 10th and 11th. The provider stated that on 9/10/26 at approximately 3:50 p.m., she received notification from the child’s mother that she was on her way to pick up the child from daycare. At approximately 4:20 p.m., the provider received notification from the child’s father that he would be picking up the child at 4:30 p.m. The provider contacted the mother to inform her of the father’s message. The mother instructed the provider not to release the child to the father, stating that she was already on her way and had not spoken with the father about him picking up the child. The provider then informed the father that the child had already left for the day, although the child was still present at the daycare. When the mother arrived, the provider released the child to her. The provider stated that the mother is generally responsible for the child’s drop-off and pick-up unless mom notifies the provider and approves for the child's dad to pick-up, as the father is not an authorized pick-up person. See remarks.”
