Regulation 5.10.1.1.2: Children shall be protected from choking hazards presented by cords on window coverings, electric or electronic appliances or equipment and telephones.
“There were several loose cords noted in the main preschool classroom area. There were loose cords going to the fishtank, two decorative paper star shaped lamps and several areas where mini twinkle light cords hung loose. These were all located in areas where the children played and at their level. Corrective Action: During the visit the loose twinkle lights were removed and all other loose cords were secured. Please develop a plan for monitoring the cords within the classroom. Please email Licensor [name] describing how you plan to ensure future compliance with this regulation.”

Please have Staff A schedule a fingerprinting appointment. Email this licensor once Staff A has completed fingerprinting. Ensure moving forward that staff do not miss their 5 year renewal date.”
