Regulation 3.3.3: The FCCP shall establish a system for taking attendance, including documentation of the time when each child arrives and departs each day he/she attends the FCCH. The FCCP shall save all daily attendance records identifying the hours of children s attendance for at least twelve (12) months from the date that care is provided.
“Upom arroval at the program, there were 5 children in care and no children signed into the program. A review of the attendance records reflected that attendance had not been recorded since 08/04/2022. The provider confirmed that while she had been caring for children, she had not recorded attendance since 08/04/2022. Corrective Action: Immediately plan to record the time of each child's arrival and departure each day they attend. Develop a system which will prompt you to record each child's time of arrival and departure in a timely manner moving forward.”
