“Located in the backyard was a small trampoline that was accessible to children. The protective netting was unzipped and the ladder was in place to allow accessibility. The provider stated she has allowed the children to jump on the trampoline. She stated she was unaware that the family childcare children could not utilize a trampoline. She volunteered to remove the trampoline from her backyard. If the provider decides not to move the trampoline, then it must be kept inaccessible to children in care. The ladder needs to be moved so that the children do not have access to the ladder in order to gain entry onto the trampoline. Also, the netting needs to remain fastened. The provider will submit a photograph of the backyard area immediately, showing that the trampoline is safeguarded or removed.”

The provider agreed to cover this area of the gate so that it will prevent a child from escaping. There is currently chicken wire on the remaining sections of the fence. Submit a photograph of the gate immediately to show how this area is secured to alleviate any supervision or safety issues regarding children.”
