Regulation 3.3.5: The licensee, staff, and auxiliary staff shall be trained in prevention, identification and mandatory reporting of child abuse and neglect.
“Review of staff BFIS Quality and Credential accounts indicate that 18 of the 19 staff have not completed the Online Protecting Vermont's Children mandated reporter training. When asked, the program director stated that staff completed the school district required mandated reporter training, not the Online Protecting Vermont's Children mandated reporter training that is required by the Division. Corrective Action: By 2/28/2020 all staff must complete the required Child Abuse and Neglect Mandatory Reporter Training, submit verification of completed training to Northern Lights at CCV and the date training was completed to this licensor.
