  “In a video clip that the center director shared with the OCC, a child care teacher can be seen placing a blanket over a child's body and pressing down for a few seconds. This behavior was not a safe or appropriate use of the blanket. When the behavior was brought to the attention of the director, the child care teacher was immediately sent home. She was terminated the following day. The operator is reminded to ensure that all staff ensure that all furnishings, materials and equipment is used in a safe and appropriate manner. Licensing Specialist recommends that the center conduct a staff meeting to discuss this regulation and submit evidence to the OCC within 30 days.”
