      OCCL Standards Complaint (Substantiated)

“On July 28, 2026, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding allegations of lack of supervision. An investigation was conducted on July 29, 2026. Based on staff interviews, and video and documents reviewed, this complaint is substantiated for lack of supervision. Two staff members stated they allow children to leave the classroom and use the bathroom unsupervised. Staff were observed on video leaving children in the classroom without direct supervision. Additional concerns noted during visit were child attendance records were not filled out accurately to reflect children who were present at that time, and documents reviewed and observations on video showed classrooms were not in correct staff-to-child ratio.”
