Rule 1100.1106.1 Pets with which children have contact shall receive vaccinations as required by law. Verification of vaccinations administered by a licensed veterinarian shall be maintained. Any pet that constitutes a threat to the welfare and safety of the children shall be kept in a confined area which prevents any contact with the children.

Rule 200.201.10 The facility shall provide a copy of the list of Kindergarten Readiness Skills Calendar or Checklist, prepared by the Arkansas Department of Education (copies can be requested online, by phone, or by mail from the DHS DCCECE Program Support Unit), to the parents of all three (3) and four (4) year old children enrolled. (Act 825 of 2003) A statement signed by the parent that they have received a copy of the list, shall be maintained in the child’s record.

Rule 200.201.9 Parents shall be informed in writing upon enrollment of their child that children may be subject to interviews by licensing staff, child maltreatment investigators, and/or law enforcement officials for the purpose of determining licensing compliance or for investigative purposes. Child interviews do not require parental notice or consent.
