OCCL Standards Complaint (Substantiated)
“On September 6, 2023, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding lack of supervision, accident injury procedures, and use of a substitute. An investigation was conducted on September 9, 2023. This complaint is substantiated for accident/injury procedures and substitute use because Substitute #1 did not report to the parent that Child #1 had been bitten on the forehead after providing assistance to Child #1, and the parents were not notified before [name] absence that Substitute #1 would be used. In addition, the date and time of when Substitute #1 was present with the children was not documented.
