Please obtain the documentation from the parent as soon as possible and submit evidence to the Licensing Specialist once all required documents have been obtained. “Upon inspection of the outdoor activity area the specialist noted that there was no secure barrier in place at the top of the stairs leading to the walk-out basement. The gate observed at the top of the stairs must be repaired, properly secured, and must completely cover the opening to the cement steps to prevent children from falling down the stairs. The provider stated that she has been taking the children on walks and to the community playground due to the gate needing to be repaired. Please have the gate repaired and submit evidence to the Licensing specialist.”

Provider is reminded that the children's files should be accessible at all times.”
