5180:2-20-05 Safe Environment

“During the inspection, it was determined the program did not protect children from an unsafe item, condition or equipment. The following was observed: A cleaning mop with inserted spray cleaning product was hanging on the door in the children's restroom within reach of the children. Any hazardous equipment must be removed, replaced, or repaired and any hazardous condition must be corrected and must be made inaccessible to children. Provide staff training. Submit the programs corrective action plan, which includes a statement that the item or condition has been removed and a statement that training was provided, to the department to verify compliance with the requirements of this rule.”

“During the inspection and review of staff files, individuals used in ratio did not have a non-guilty non-conviction statement signed annually. Submit the program's corrective action plan, which includes a copy of the non-guilty non-conviction statement, to the department to verify compliance with the requirements of this rule.”
