“LS observed food that was previously opened and resealed using tape only with no date in the cabinet. LS explained to the director that all food should be stored in a resealable container labeled with the name of the food and the date it was opened. The director will dispose of the open food.”

“LS observed items in a closet that did not have a child safety lock on it that had potentially harmful items in it. The director was unsure if that closet remained locked with a key, although she did try her keys to see if she could lock it during the inspection she was unsuccessful at the time.”

“LS received a personnel list with a staff that was unknown to OCC listed on it during the inspection LS asked when was this staff added to the list and the director explained that this staff had been here since she started in July being used only as a substitute and she did not know that this staff had not been cleared by the pervious director.”

“LS observed Microban 24 Hour Sanitizing Spray in the woman's/girls bathroom accessible to children. Also LS observed medication visible to children in a staff members purse that was located on the floor in the classroom. Both were corrected immediately during the inspection.”
