“On May 9, 2025, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding incorrect staff-to-child ratios. An investigation was conducted on May 14, 2025. Based on interviews and a review of attendance records, this complaint is substantiated for incorrect staff-to-child ratios. At the time of the investigation visit a classroom was observed to not be in correct staff-to-child ratio. In addition, a review of attendance records showed the two-year-old classroom having an incorrect staff-to-child ratio on May 9, 2025. Additional concerns were noted during this investigation. LS #1 observed an infant sleeping in a swing while wrapped in a fleece blanket. A staff member was working at the center without having been determine eligible or provisionally eligible by the Criminal History Unit, and both staff and child attendance had not been documented accurately.”
