5180-37-04 Health and Safety Training

“In review of the staff records, it was determined that at least one individual counted in ratio or left alone with children had not completed required health and safety training in that, 3 staff members did not have current 1st aid and CPR and at least one staff member in each group did not maintain current child abuse and communicable disease. Refer to the Employee Record Chart for the name(s) of the individual(s) who must complete the required health and safety training(s). Submit the programs corrective action plan to the department to verify compliance with the requirements of this rule.”

“In review of the staff records, it was determined that at least one individual used to meet ratio or left alone with children did not meet the annual in-service training requirement in that, 2 staff members did not obtain the minimum of 10 hours during the last fiscal year. Submit the programs corrective action plan to the department to verify compliance with the requirements of this rule.”
